So I am sure everyone is aware of the recent aritcles of Jon's "infidelity" True or not, first of all I don’t condone cheating in any situation. (not saying that he did) But I will say that it is not uncommon for men who are emasculated constantly, like Jon, to try to regain their “manhood” by cheating. its not about the sex or the other person…but simply to help their self esteem. I also don't believe that intoxication has much to do with cheating as you wouldn't do anything drunk that isn't already in the back of your mind sober. Personally I don't think if he did cheat it would be in public. He is by now more than aware of his lack of privacy because of their fame and would likely cheat in private if he is cheating. But I do see that their marriage is obviously in trouble. I would hope that this is not just a publicity stunt to gain more viewers...but who knows...there is no such thing as bad publicity right?
I would also like to add (again not saying he did or didn't cheat) That he would probably not have to pay her child support. In most states its who ever makes the most income and is the custodial parent. Between her speaking engagement fees and her books I am sure she makes more! Of corse that begs the question…if divorce is coming who will have the kids most of the time? (Since in the more recent episodes Jon seems to be there more often than Kate) Personally I used to defend Kate, having a type A personality and multiples myself. I too am a clean freak and perhaps even ocd...but I am patient and kind to both my husband and children and put them first! The floor can always be swept later. In the last two seasons she has gotten completely out of control! It begs the question...are we seeing the real kate now and it has been a front from the start. Let us not forget that she is no longer changing hundreds of diapers and feeding babies anymore. Gone are the days of sleep deprivation and money problems. In fact the kids are in preschool half of the day now….so why is she more “stressed” now than she was in the earlier seasons. Their "tiny" house isn't an excuse anymore. Being home with the kids by herself...? nope Jon works from home now thanks to again help from friends. I don’t personally care for her “snobish” attitude anymore. This family used to be relaitable but now she has let being a "diva" ruin her relaitabilty to the common mother. Not to mention...she has constant help...which most of us moms do not...though they seem to go through nannies like they did diapers!
Either way I do wish them luck on overcoming this! Whether it is true or not damage has been done! I personally have lost interest in the show and think it is time to call it quits. Maybe the loss of public intrigue will bring Kates Swollen head down to a normal size...but that is doubtful.
